Arguably the best CMOS image sensor in the 3 MP class. The UI-5272SE Rev.4.2 GigE industrial camera with the 1/1.8" global shutter IMX265 sensor from Sony offers a resolution of 3.2 MP (2056 x 1542 pixels) at a frame rate of 38 fps via the GigE interface. In terms of dynamic range, sensitivity, and linearity, the camera is unrivaled and is enthusiastically received by industrial customers in mechanical engineering, measuring technology, and medical technology.

The IDS Software Suite includes a number of special features, such as 30 second long exposure as well as line scan mode for using the area scan camera as a cost-effective alternative to a line scan camera.

The UI-5272SE Rev.4.2 board level camera without lens holder is available in a color or monochrome version.

Biotechnology and life sciences

Image processing can be used, for example, to analyze living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.

Embedded systemes

Typical scenarios are the use in portable systems for quality control, in diagnostics, in scanners or drones.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Mechanical engineering

From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Pharma and healthcare

By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.

Small device construction

Compact and powerful - IDS cameras can be easily integrated into small devices such as handheld scanners or other portable systems.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.
