Product Life Cycle The camera model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. The availability of the model is fully ensured until its final discontinuation. 🛈 Product Life Cycle Long-term availability is an important aspect when selecting the right industrial camera. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection. The following life cycle statuses are differed: In development The model is not yet in series production, but will be introduced shortly. In series Camera in series production. Not recommended for new designs The camera model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. The availability of the model is fully ensured until its final discontinuation. Discontinued The model has been discontinued. You have the opportunity to secure inventory before the end of the last-time-buy order period. See product discontinuations. For further questions, please contact our sales team.

uEye industrial cameras now also work with IDS peak!
We recommend the Software Development Kit for the implementation of new projects. Learn about the process here and switch now.
Please note: The technical data given here was measured using the IDS Software Suite.

The UI-3260CP with Sony's 2.35 MP sensor IMX 249 (1936 x 1216 px) sets, like its “big brother” the IMX174, new standards in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and color reproduction. The USB 3 industrial camera provides excellent image quality with extraordinarily low-noise performance - at frame rates up to 47 fps (full resolution).

The sensor is perfect for applications demanding excellent image quality even in low-light conditions as well as in ITS and in quality assurance.

This camera model will be supported beginning with IDS Software Suite 4.70.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.

Visualisation

Recognize details more accurately - for example, by displaying close-up images on monitors.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Quality assurance

IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.

Inspection applications

IDS cameras can be used to check for completeness or material defects and to detect defects or bar/matrix codes.

Food & beverage

To ensure the highest food quality - camera technology e.g. detects contaminants and helps with sorting tasks and fill level monitoring.

Process control

Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.

Pharma and healthcare

By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.

Endless web inspection

Whether steel, paper or fabrics - IDS cameras always keep an eye on their test object and detect, for example, material defects or stains.
