Light sensitivity that goes far beyond the human eye - this is what sensors with Starvis 2 technology from Sony have been designed for. If you choose the tiny industrial camera U3-38C0XCP Rev.1.2 with the 2.16 MPix Rolling Shutter sensor IMX662, you can look forward to exceptional image quality with an impressively high dynamic range thanks to its sophisticated pixel technology. The cost-effective USB3 camera (1968 x 1100 px, pixel size 2.90 µm) has a C-mount lens mount, delivers fast 88.0 fps and is particularly strong in low-light applications where high sensitivity and low resolution are required.

The 1/3" sensor is also an excellent choice when it comes to minimizing disturbing reflections within the camera. It has an anti-reflection coating, which counteracts the so-called "lens flare".

The U3-38C0XCP Rev.1.2 is available as a monochrome or color version. We recommend using it in combination with our versatile IDS peak SDK.

Please note: If you choose a model without filter glass (monochrome sensor, matchcode component "-NO"), make sure that no dust or other particles get onto the sensor during set-up and use.
