uEye Vision Firmware 2.2 includes PTP and sequencer mode
Firmware update available for uEye Vision cameras
With the release of firmware 2.2, we offer two major new features for our uEye Vision cameras in addition to various detail improvements - Precision Time Protocol (PTP) in accordance with the IEEE 1588 standard and a practical sequencer mode.
With the help of PTP, precise time synchronization in Ethernet networks can be realized in multi-camera operation. The application note "Clock comparison" explains how you can implement it in your application. When using the Sequencer mode, up to 12 sets of different parameters can be created for image acquisition, whereby the parameters exposure time, gain and OffsetX/OffsetY may be adjusted as required. The sets are then automatically executed in a defined sequence.
New USB3 Vision and GigE Vision cameras are shipped directly with the latest firmware version. If you are already using IDS cameras based on the Vision Standard, you can use the update tool to install the latest version quickly and free of charge on your devices.
