Series production: uEye CP cameras with 20 MP Sony sensor

Sensor with highest resolution within the IDS camera portfolio

When applications require capturing the smallest details, high-resolution images with low noise are a must. Both are qualities that characterize the 20 MP IMX183 sensor from Sony (5544 x 3694). It will be launched in October within the uEye CP camera family with USB3 Vision interface.

The cameras will then provide the highest resolution of the entire IDS portfolio. The rolling shutter sensor from the Sony STARVIS series delivers fast 19.5 fps and, thanks to BSI technology ("back-side-illumination"), ensures outstanding image quality and faithful reproduction of the original motif - even under poor or varying lighting conditions.

Integration of the U3V interface into the uEye SE family is already planned. In addition to housed versions, board variants with different lens mount holder options will then be available, too. We are also currently working on uEye SE models with GigE Vision interface. The Vision cameras can be supported by our new SDK IDS peak.
