uEye XCP and XLE: 8 MP Sony sensor and 5 MP onsemi NIR variant available
New sensors for the cost-efficient industrial camera families uEye XCP and XLE
When developing the uEye XCP and XLE industrial camera families, we focused on basic camera functions and placed great emphasis on a cost-efficient design. The demand shows that the concept is well received. For this reason, we are continuously expanding the range of available sensors: in addition to the already available models with 2.3 and 5 MP onsemi sensors, variants with the 8.41 Sony sensor IMX415 as well as the 5 MP onsemi NIR sensor AR0522 are now available. Models of both camera families from the IDS peak supported uEye+ product line can be delivered at short notice.
The high-resolution rolling shutter sensor IMX415 provides 24.8 fps and is particularly suitable for visualisation tasks. With the 2x2 binning feature, it is possible to reduce the amount of data to be transmitted by a factor of four if required, thereby increasing both the light sensitivity and the frame rate.
Customers with applications in the near-infrared spectrum (NIR) can now also use uEye+ cameras from the XCP and XLE families. The 5 MP onsemi sensor AR0522 combines a high dynamic range with superior low-light performance. All technical information about the new sensors can be found on our website.
Thanks to Vision Standard compatibility, all models of the uEye XCP and XLE families can be used with any GenICam-compliant software. With our IDS peak software development kit, we also offer you a great plus in convenience and simplicity when developing your image processing application and operating your camera.
