IDS NXT malibu: New camera for live image analysis
The new camera series of the IDS NXT product line will be available in summer
This summer the intelligent cameras of the IDS NXT product line will be expanded by a new series of models. IDS NXT malibu is even more powerful than the IDS NXT rio and rome camera series. What does that mean in particular?
Like these two models, IDS NXT malibu enables both AI image evaluation and result processing directly on the camera. In addition, it offers higher inference performance and prepares data hardware-accelerated for the compressed transmission of a video stream (H264 or MJPG). With this, the embedded vision camera with artificial intelligence will set new standards.
At automatica in Munich, we are presenting the possibilities of this new hardware platform. Compared to the other models, it shortens inference times by up to twenty times - which means it can execute neural networks much faster. This makes the realization of AI-based image analyses directly in the live image possible.
