Ensenso B now in series production – for 3D vision from a distance of approx. 20 cm
3D camera allows for short working distance, a large field of view and a high depth of field
This 3D camera gets up close! Ensenso B combines several very interesting characteristics: the housing is very compact, measuring just 120 x 56 x 104 millimeters, and contains all the components – from the two 5 MP color cameras and the pattern projector to the entire electronics. This simplifies cabling and deployment on a robot arm. There, the camera keeps everything in view, even at close range.
Ensenso B enables 3D vision from a distance of just 20 centimeters. The combination of a very short working distance, a large field of view and a high depth of field is particularly beneficial for bin picking applications. The camera is able to capture many objects over a large area. This allows the pick-and-place process to be optimized and containers to be emptied more easily. The stereo vision camera is now available in series production.
