The popular uEye LE now IDS peak-supported, in series production as of summer
uEye+ LE design-in samples available - Vision Standard compatibility and many housing variants
Our team is currently working hard to develop new hardware platforms to improve the availability of IDS cameras in times of semiconductor shortages. This now also provides even more choice in the uEye LE camera portfolio: we are introducing new uEye+ models with USB3 interface and Vision Standard compatibility, integrating popular Sony sensors from 1.6 to 6.4 MP. As known from our current uEye LE cameras, the new models are also characterised by their diverse housing options. Series production is scheduled to start as early as July.
With five different housing variants and the practical USB Type-C connector, there are many possibilities for integrating the compact cameras into image processing systems. The board-level versions will be available both with horizontal and, in the future, also with vertical USB Type-C alignment ("VU" variant, which stands for "vertical USB"). In addition, board-level versions with active focus are planned for the start of series production. This means that we will offer over 100 new models in series and with short availability from summer onwards.
Initially, we will integrate the global shutter CMOS sensors IMX273 (1.6 MP) and IMX265 (3.2 MP) in the new models; IMX290 (2.1 MP) and IMX178 (6.4 MP) will be available as rolling shutter variants - all in colour and mono. The preliminary technical specifications of the design-in samples can be found on our website. On the software side, the cameras are supported by IDS peak. Bauklein und variantenreich: Ob als Version mit beschichtetem Kunststoffgehäuse und C-/CS-Mount Objektivflansch oder als Einplatinenkamera mit oder ohne C-/CS-Mount bzw. S-Mount Objektivanschluss - uEye LE-Kameras sind kostensparende Projektkameras mit großer Objektiv- und Sensorvielfalt. Da sie auf die wesentlichen Funktionen reduziert sind, sind uEye LE Modelle besonders kostengünstig. Ihr leichtes, beschichtetes Plastikgehäuse ist dennoch robust genug, um auch raueren Industrieanforderungen gewachsen zu sein. Die Kameras eignen sich besonders für Projekte im Kleingerätebau und die Integration in Embedded Systeme. Auch in der Medizintechnik, Robotik sowie in klassischen Machine Vision Anwendungen spielen sie ihre Stärken aus.
