Even more possible applications for our intelligent industrial cameras: At VISION, we already offered a glimpse of what becomes possible with Anomaly Detection, and soon the Deep Learning method will be available to all IDS NXT customers.
Starting with the next update for our AI vision system IDS NXT, you will be able to use the cameras to detect anomalies in addition to Object Detection and Classification. Only a small selection of training data is required to reliably identify both known and unknown deviations. We presented the feature on our trade show tour video - feel free to take a look!
As always, we are focusing not only on expanding functionality but also on user-friendliness with this update. The new features fit seamlessly into the existing tools and workflows. With Anomaly Detection, the entry into AI-based image processing will soon be even easier due to the small number of training images required. Look forward to IDS NXT 3.0 - we will inform you as soon as the update is released.
