Unique position of the IDS camera system with AI confirmed at VISION
IDS once again demonstrates pioneering spirit at the 30th VISION with innovative products
Only one year after the last edition, the 30th VISION attracted more than 6,500 visitors, including some of you, dear customers and partners. We are very pleased about the reception we received for our innovations. Not only our online marketplace visionpier, which proved to be a real eye-catcher with its cheerful umbrella cargo bike, was well received. We attracted attention with this appearance as well as with the concept of the platform, which is in demand even outside the DACH region, so that internationalization is to be driven forward.
Above all, however, the updates for the IDS NXT AI vision system generated a lot of interest. "With our All-in-One AI package, we cover the entire workflow for the design of AI vision applications - including many practical "helpers". We have obviously hit a nerve with this and currently hold a unique position," says Patrick Schick, Product Marketing Manager.
This applies equally to the uEye XC with integrated autofocus, which fills a gap in the market as a longed-for webcam alternative for industrial applications. Our 10GigE vision camera also scored high points at VISION with its remarkably fast transmission speed.
IDS expert knowledge on the topics of AI Vision and 10GigE Highspeed was shared by our colleagues Dr. Martin Hennemann and Carsten Traupe at the Industrial Vision Days. Their vivid presentations are available at any time in the IDS Vision Channel.
Jan Hartmann, IDS Managing Director, underlines the importance of VISION as the leading technological trade fair for the industry: "Machine vision is a central technology for automation technology, especially in conjunction with 3D vision and artificial intelligence. At VISION, visitors learned how we facilitate access to these key technologies and help to initiate and optimize automation processes with easy-to-use components."
Something else was noted with great pleasure: At a time when the issues of chip shortages and supply availability continue to preoccupy the industry, our visitors were enthusiastic about our many new USB3 cameras. With their newly developed hardware platforms, we can ensure short delivery times.
