How-To Trigger Everything: Flexible Image Acquisition with IDS cameras

You need to solve a complex trigger use case or would like to explore the innumerable possibilities for controlling the image acquisition of your IDS vision camera?

GeniCam, the generic programming interface in the field of machine vision and basis for our IDS vision cameras, includes many implementation rules for vision camera features. Similar to the connection principle of the famous Lego bricks, it describes a versatile building block system for innumerable individual machine vision applications.  Triggering an image is no longer restricted to an external source. Function blocks, such as counters, timers, generated PWM signals or software events are also potential signaling devices which can also be flexibly interconnected. The use cases in this video describe just some examples of the many trigger options which can be implemented using IDS vision cameras.
