Product Life Cycle Camera in series production. 🛈 Product Life Cycle Long-term availability is an important aspect when selecting the right industrial camera. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection. The following life cycle statuses are differed: In development The model is not yet in series production, but will be introduced shortly. In series Camera in series production. Not recommended for new designs The camera model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. Discontinued The model has been discontinued. You have the opportunity to secure inventory before the end of the last-time-buy order period. See product discontinuations. The 13 MP autofocus camera uEye+ XC is as easy to operate as a webcam. Unlike consumer products, it has been specifically designed for use in industrial applications and delivers sharp images and videos even in changing light conditions. Useful functions such as 24x digital zoom, auto white balance and color correction ensure that the industrial camera keeps all details perfectly in view. It shows its strengths, for example, in kiosk systems, quality assurance, logistics automation and medical technology. With the uEye XC Starter Kit, you receive a comprehensive package with which you can evaluate and use the entire range of functions. It contains not only the camera, tripod and cable, but also a macro lens. Thanks to this lens, the camera with the AR1335 rolling shutter color sensor from onsemi is also suitable for demanding applications at close range, because it easily shortens the minimum possible object distance and thus opens up additional application possibilities.

On the software side, it is GenICam-compliant and therefore compatible with our modern software SDK IDS peak.

The starter set includes the following items:
  • USB3 uEye+ XC camera
  • USB3 standard cable, A/Micro-B, 1.5 m
  • Tripod adapter set
  • Macro lens
  • 8-edge screwdriver

Document scanning

Efficient capture of document content, for example for documentation or process automation.

Embedded systemes

Typical scenarios are the use in portable systems for quality control, in diagnostics, in scanners or drones.

Small device construction

Compact and powerful - IDS cameras can be easily integrated into small devices such as handheld scanners or other portable systems.

Image processing can be used, for example, to record visitor numbers and customer behavior and carry out entrance controls.

Imaging systems can be found e.g. in self-checkout systems and reverse vending machines and provide support for shelf inspection.

Kiosk systems

IDS cameras are used in self-checkout systems as well as in reverse vending machines and ATMs.
