Product Life Cycle Camera in series production. 🛈 Product Life Cycle Long-term availability is an important aspect when selecting the right industrial camera. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection. The following life cycle statuses are differed: In development The model is not yet in series production, but will be introduced shortly. In series Camera in series production. Not recommended for new designs The camera model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. Discontinued The model has been discontinued. You have the opportunity to secure inventory before the end of the last-time-buy order period. See product discontinuations. Tiny board-level camera with an eye for the finest details: the U3-36P4XLS Rev.1.2 features the 19.80 MPix AR2020 sensor from onsemi with 5K UHD resolution. This benefits, for example, embedded vision applications in quality control, miniature device manufacturing and medical technology.

We offer the sensor not only in color, but also as a monochrome version. This is ideal for low-light applications in an industrial environment or for uses such as microscopy, where even more sensitivity is required. Also, if you are looking for a technical successor to onsemi's popular 18 MP AR1820 sensor, you have come to the right place.

The 1/1.8" Rolling Shutter sensor (aspect ratio 4:3, 5136 x 3856 px px) achieves 15.0 fps, in FHD mode of 1920 x 1080 pixels even 27 fps suitable for live video. Thanks to the USB3 Vision interface, the industrial camera is also fully standard-compliant and can therefore be easily used with our IDS peak SDK.

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Quality assurance

IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.

Surface inspection

IDS cameras detect cracks, irregularities or other processing defects in optical quality assurance.

Biotechnology and life sciences

Image processing can be used, for example, to analyze living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.

Small device construction

Compact and powerful - IDS cameras can be easily integrated into small devices such as handheld scanners or other portable systems.
