High resolution packed into a compact, cost-efficient camera architecture - ideal for tight installation situations where image quality and precision must not be compromised. Thanks to the improved light angle independence, the image quality remains stable even with angled incident light. This opens up more flexibility in lens selection and allows the use of small, cost-efficient S-mount lenses in addition to C-mount lenses.
The miniature pixels (2.25 µm) of the compact (5.81 mm) yet powerful 1/3.1" sensor not only provide detailed images in daylight, but also impress with their particularly high sensitivity in the near-infrared range (NIR) at 850 nanometers - perfect for scenarios with infrared lighting, such as in inspection, automated guided vehicles (AGV) or autonomous mobile robots (AMR).
In addition, the Global Shutter technology ensures that fast-moving objects are captured without image distortion, which improves accuracy and efficiency in automated applications.
As part of the uEye XLS series, the camera is particularly suitable for volume projects or as an affordable entry-level model. The industrial camera is available with either a color or mono sensor.
