This USB 3.0 industrial camera features a 5.08 MPix Rolling Shutter sensor with Sony Starvis 2 technology - providing impressive image quality as a matter of course. The 1/3" Sony sensor IMX675 offers a resolution of 5.08 MPix (2592 x 1960 px px), delivers 40.0 fps and is particularly effective when used in low light conditions. The key features here are the very low image noise and high sensitivity in the NIR range ("Near Infrared"). In addition, the integrated anti-reflection coating helps to ensure that no or fewer flares occur when exposed to direct light.

Applications in quality control, transport and medical technology, among others, benefit from these characteristics. The compact camera with the match code U3-34F0XCP Rev.1.2 is priced in the entry-level segment, making it ideal for volume projects, for example.

Please note: If you choose a model without filter glass (monochrome sensor, matchcode component "-NO"), make sure that no dust or other particles get onto the sensor during set-up and use.

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.

Visualisation

Recognize details more accurately - for example, by displaying close-up images on monitors.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Safety technology

Image processing is used, for example, for access control or the monitoring of rooms or outdoor facilities.

Embedded systemes

Typical scenarios are the use in portable systems for quality control, in diagnostics, in scanners or drones.
