Our GV-5291SE Rev.4.2 GigE Vision camera with the IMX267 8.8 megapixel CMOS sensor from Sony has an impressively large dynamic range and high light sensitivity, including in the NIR range. With a frame rate of 12 fps, it delivers perfect, practically noiseless image quality even in low light conditions.

The reduced pixel size of 3.45 µm allows more pixels in a smaller optical format.

The GV-5291SE Rev.4.2 board level camera with C-mount lens holder is available in a color or monochrome version.

Biotechnology and life sciences

Image processing can be used, for example, to analyze living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.

Endless web inspection

Whether steel, paper or fabrics - IDS cameras always keep an eye on their test object and detect, for example, material defects or stains.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Mechanical engineering

From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Monitoring

Image processing can be used, for example, to record visitor numbers and customer behavior and carry out entrance controls.

Pharma and healthcare

By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.
