IDS peak 2.12

New and changed functions

IDS peak Cockpit

The docking concept in the IDS peak cockpit has been modified and redesigned.

By default, the camera window now opens several cameras using tabs. You can use the mouse to drag the camera windows and position them next to each other. The dialogs for the cameras only open once. The colored border of the camera window indicates the camera for which you are changing parameters if you have two or more cameras open. Alternatively, you can see in the tooltip of the respective dialog which camera is currently used.

In addition to the revised main menu, there is a new tool menu. The main menu can be positioned either at the top or bottom of the application. The tool menu can be positioned at the top, bottom or side.

The handling of the workspaces has also been revised. In addition to the cameras and dialogs, you can now also save and load the image processing settings, drawing elements and camera parameters (*.cset file). Due to these changes, workspaces from previous versions can no longer be used and must be newly created.
