Introduction
These release notes describe the new features and changes in IDS NXT cockpit 4.3.
IDS NXT cockpit 4.3
This version of the IDS NXT cockpit supports Windows 11 64-bit (version 23H2) and Windows 10 64-bit (version 22H2).
New and changed functions
- Support of uEye Live cameras in the Finder.
Bugfixes
- An error caused the GPIO settings to be displayed incompletely and prevented you from loading .mvapp files when you connected to an IDS NXT malibu by entering its IP address in the Finder.
- If you open several IDS NXT cockpits at the same time, the IDS NXT malibu will now be displayed in the Finders of all IDS NXT cockpits.
Known issues

| IDS NXT cockpit | IDS NXT rio / IDS NXT rome | If you enable image sharpening and use a sensor ROI, the image in the IDS NXT cockpit may jump. This error can mean that the ROI cannot be adjusted in vision apps. |
| IDS NXT cockpit | Finder | If you selected a camera in the Finder for longer than 10 minutes without connecting to the camera, the IDS NXT cockpit may display an error message. To avoid this behavior, open the camera after the selection or disable the camera selection. If the error occurs, you must restart the IDS NXT cockpit. |
| IDS NXT cockpit | Finder | The Finder cannot establish a connection to the camera if the PC has several network cards in the same network but uses the network card that does not match the camera's subnet. Make sure that the network that matches the camera's subnet is enabled and accessible. |
| IDS NXT cockpit | Finder / IDS NXT malibu | If you reset the IP address after a factory reset, you have to enter the password. Note that you have to enter the initial password "ids" after a factory reset. If you enter an incorrect password, the IDS NXT cockpit closes without any feedback. |

| IDS NXT cockpit | Multi camera viewer and vision app selection | If you have already selected a vision app for a camera in the multi camera viewer and you subsequently install a new vision app on this camera or delete a vision app, the vision app selection in the multi camera viewer is reset.

| Classifier | Nets with attention maps | It was noticed that in certain cases classification results differ significantly, which is likely due to the different net architectures. If you use nets with attention maps, you may get different results compared to nets without attention maps. These differences occur because different net architectures are used for training. For serial application, we recommend to use nets without attention maps. |
| OPC UA Server | New installation of a vision app | After reinstalling a vision app, it may be necessary to call the "PrepareRecipe" method twice to enable the corresponding recipe. Alternatively, after reinstalling a vision app, it is recommended to start it once initially. |
| OPC UA Server | IDS NXT malibu | The camera settings flipHorizontal and flipVertical are currently not saved in a configuration. |
