So much variety! More than 30 new USB3 and GigE models in 3 camera families
Sony 4th generation sensors with 16 and 24 MP expand our industrial camera portfolio
We have added more than 30 new camera models to our range! This means even more variety in our uEye+ product line: the two high-resolution global shutter CMOS sensors IMX540 (24 MP, aspect ratio 4:3) and IMX542 (16 MP, aspect ratio 16:9) from Sony's Pregius S series are new additions to the range. It goes without saying that they deliver excellent image quality.
We offer the sensors in three camera families: as uEye+ CP models (only 29 x 29 x 29 mm in size), as uEye+ SE variants (with a particularly wide range of housing options) and in the uEye+ FA product line (particularly sturdy thanks to IP65/67). They are available in both color and mono. These cameras are characterized by razor-sharp images, even when the objects being captured are moving quickly.
Kai Hartmann, Product Innovation Manager at IDS, explains why these variants will in future become known as more than just "fourth generation sensors": "The pixel size of both sensors is 2.74 µm.
