New products from VISION: uEye Live Industrial Monitoring Cameras
uEye SCP and SLE lines in series production from December, get prototypes now
The industrial-grade monitoring cameras from our new uEye SCP and SLE series definitely proved to be highlights at our VISION trade fair booth. They complement our portfolio as a new camera line for the continuous monitoring and documentation of processes. The cameras will go into series production in December.
Philipp Ohl, Head of Product Management at IDS, explains: "The GigE cameras are available either with housing or as boardlevel variants. They can provide several video streams at the same time - and we have specifically optimized the image quality for human perception." This is why they are equipped with an ISP with many automatic image enhancement features. In addition to standalone operation with a web front end (HTTP), other key features include:
- Video streaming (MJPEG, H.264)
- Hardware-accelerated video encoding
- Event-based recording ("DashCam feature") in the camera memory incl. "look back in time"
