IDS NXT oslo expands AI portfolio
Intelligent, robust and versatile - the new IDS NXT oslo is the latest addition to our range of high-performance AI cameras. The model combines artificial intelligence with impeccable image quality, video streaming and recording functions in a compact industrial housing rated to IP69K, the highest level of protection against the ingress of dust and high-pressure water.
The centerpiece of the new camera is a chip from Ambarella, already known from the IDS NXT malibu. It enables compressed video streams in full 5 MP sensor resolution (H.264, MJPEG) at over 25 frames per second. Output is directly to the desired end device via the RTSP protocol, without the need for an additional PC for analysis or visualization. This makes the camera ideal for applications that require live images, including AI-based overlays.
Thanks to the integrated ISP (Image Signal Processor), users also benefit from automatic features such as brightness, lens distortion and color correction. Together with the light-sensitive onsemi AR0521 sensor, this ensures excellent image quality even in difficult lighting conditions.
