New board-level cameras: light-sensitive and powerful in the NIR range
Sony Starvis 2 sensors IMX664 and IMX676 now also available in the uEye XLS family
The Sony Starvis 2 sensors IMX664 (1/1.8" rolling shutter, 4 MP) and IMX676 (1/1.6" rolling shutter, 12.5 MP) are now available in our uEye XLS product family. The small, affordable board-level cameras are therefore perfectly suited to tasks where high light sensitivity and excellent image quality are required.
A particularly impressive characteristic of these sensors is their performance in the NIR ("Near Infrared") range. This is particularly advantageous for microscopy applications in medicine and laboratories, but also supports a wide range of visualization tasks in numerous other sectors - for example in low ambient light.
The sensors are now available both in the uEye XCP (with housing) and in the uEye XLS family (as board-level models). They are recommended for embedded vision applications, for example, and are placed in the highly attractive entry-level price segment.
