The ultra-compact USB3 camera visualizes movements at any speed in real time and with zero loss. Thanks to its extremely high dynamic range, this is even possible in almost complete darkness. At the same time, the amount of data is significantly reduced.
This is made possible by the Sony/Prophesee IMX636 event-based vision sensor. In contrast to conventional image sensors, unlike conventional image sensors, it does not capture image at regular intervals (frames), but only reacts to changes within a scene. It therefore transmits events depending on when and where the brightness in its field of view changes.
