Event-based cameras respond to changes in the scene rather than capturing full frames. This makes them fast, data-efficient and highly effective in highly dynamic processes. In this live session on the Vision Channel, Thibaut Willeman from Prophesee demonstrates where and how event-based image processing can be integrated into industrial applications. The “Event-based Vision Sensor” (EVS) in our cameras was developed by Sony and Prophesee.
