AI-based matching process for object recognition without prior training
Systems for AI-based object identification typically require time-consuming training using large amounts of image data. DENK Match AI eliminated the need for traditional model training. Instead, it compares each object image with the characteristic features of a reference object from a database using matching algorithms. If the properties, proportions, and visual characteristics match, the object is uniquely identified and marked as a match.
This principle also applies for individual objects, such as tree trunks. Their visual and geometric characteristics serve as a reference, enabling reliable identification. This remains true even after changes in location or alterations in material due to weather conditions, or under varying lighting conditions.
The absence of training data significantly reduces the effort needed to set up customer-specific detection tasks. At the same time, generalizability increases because new objects are identified Based on references rather than training.
