Checking image quality in IDS peak Cockpit and making the most of auto features
Zwei neue How-to-Videos im Vision Channel
Our IDS peak video series continues with two closely related tutorials. The first shows how to assess your camera’s image quality, while the second explains how automatic functions adjust the camera image to changing conditions.
In the first video, Rob Webb walks you through the analysis tools available in IDS peak Cockpit. Features such as the line profile, Pixel Viewer, and crosshair allow you to check brightness, focus, and white balance. When needed, you can also inspect individual pixels and perform basic measurements directly within IDS peak Cockpit.
The second video builds on these concepts by focusing on automatic image optimization. It covers the automatic controls for brightness, white balance, black level, and focus, along with the settings they adjust. You will also learn how to configure these functions for your application.
