New all-rounder from Sony in the 2 MP sensor class
IMX392 will be available in the uEye CP, uEye SE, uEye FA and uEye ACP camera families
The 2.3 MP IMX392 global shutter CMOS sensor from the second-generation Sony Pregius series ensures outstanding image quality thanks to its enormous sensitivity, high dynamic range and low noise.
It will be integrated into different IDS camera families. The models will be offered Vision Standard compliant with either USB3 or GigE interface.
Whether small and compact in the sugarcube design of the uEye CP, with the different housing variants of the uEye SE, IP65/67 protected in the sturdy uEye FA cameras or as a variant of the versatile modular system uEye ACP: hanks to being built into all these families, you have an enormously wide choice if you want to implement the light-sensitive Sony sensor IMX392.
It offers a resolution of 2.3 MP (Full HD / 1928 x 1208 px, pixel size 3.45µm) and, with up to 167 fps, is especially suited for high-speed applications, for example in automation or quality assurance. The sensor is also predestined for tasks that require a perfect result even in low light conditions. Furthermore, the small 1/2.3" sensor format allows a wide choice of cost-effective lenses.
