Rapid prototyping with uEye+ cameras
SDK update IDS peak 1.2 brings Python support and new IDS Vision Cockpit features
With the software update IDS peak 1.2 coming January 2021, many new features will make working with our uEye+ cameras even easier. The IDS Vision Cockpit comes with many convenient "easy to use" settings dialogs to make initial setup and pre-configuration of your uEye+ cameras much simpler. And you will benefit from the interactive programming of your application through the new Python interface.
The IDS Vision Cockpit provides access to all important camera functions with new visual support. With new dialogs and automatic functions, it is the ideal configuration tool for uEye+ cameras. Moreover, IDS peak 1.2 makes it possible to conveniently save camera settings on the host PC and restore them at a later time.
The new Python interface allows you to write and test short code snippets without the need for a complex development environment. This enables prototype development on any of our supported platforms (Windows, Linux, Linux Embedded).
In addition, the new SDK brings even more helpful "plus" features to your cameras. The IPL (image processing library) allows image rotation by 90° and for our affordable, ultra-compact uEye XLE camera series, IDS peak 1.2 provides automatic white balance, exposure and gain controls.
So don't miss the new IDS peak 1.2 update in January 2021.
