IDS makes a great start to the new year
Record incoming orders and 17 % sales increase in 1st quarter
After another record year in 2016, growth is also forecast for the current year.
The current figures for the 1st quarter of 2017 exceed all expectations. With a 17 % increase in sales compared to the same period last year and a rise of 25 % in incoming orders, thanks to you we are breaking our previous best figures. International business accounts for a large proportion of the current increase, with particularly positive developments in Asia, the rest of Europe, and the USA. The expansion of international business and our hard work in recent months appears to be paying off.
We worked tirelessly on revising our entire product range. Alongside numerous hardware innovations and software upgrades, the focus was also on implementing top CMOS sensors, such as those from Sony and onsemi. The result is cameras that all meet very tough requirements. One by one, they have been launched in the market.
Our latest USB 3.1 Gen 1 uEye LE models – the cost-effective and space-saving project cameras, our new Ensenso X 3D camera system for working distances of 0.5 to 5 meters, our completely redeveloped second generation of the GigE uEye CP, and our robust GigE uEye FA – the power pack for factory automation – are just some examples. They all extend our product range and are already contributing to our successful start to the year. But the year is long and we continue to work on exciting innovations that will enable your customers to enjoy the full benefits of machine vision. It's so easy!
