IDS peak Update 2.9 introduces DirectShow for Windows

Don't miss the latest updates to version 2.9 of our vision standard-compliant SDK IDS peak. A new DirectShow interface makes it easy to open your cameras and capture images under Windows. Access to the platform-independent Python interface has also been extended and is now compatible with version 3.12.
Our existing customers with IDS USB2 cameras will also benefit from the latest release. Numerous enhancements have also been added to the uEye Transport Layer to facilitate the operation of uEye cameras (UI models) under IDS peak.
With the uEye Transport Layer, we are not leaving our existing customers out in the cold. Although the proven UI models cannot be used directly with the current vision standards, IDS peak and the integrated uEye TL make all uEye cameras compatible with USB3 Vision or GigE Vision. This means that IDS peak enables mixed operation of all uEye cameras together with the same camera software. As a result, customers can switch to IDS peak without hesitation, make their application vision-compliant and even expand it with new models.
