AI all-in-one solution: free upgrade adds many new features
Powerful IDS NXT software update now available
An extensive software update for the IDS NXT platform provides users of the all-in-one AI solution IDS NXT Experience Kit with many new unique functions and tools. It expands the system's AI capabilities to include object recognition, offers turnkey solutions with vision apps and gives developers and AI specialists more options thanks to the new "IDS NXT Vision App Creator" SDK.
The newly integrated OPC UA interface also allows IDS NXT cameras with AI-based image processing to be integrated directly into factory automation without writing a single line of code. "We are the first company to offer an inference camera with native support of the OPC UA protocol," explains Kai Hartmann, Product Manager IDS NXT. "With this, we ensure that image processing and PLC grow together. IDS NXT cameras are thus not only a component, but rather a milestone for Industry 4.0 systems".
