30 new models: uEye+ CP, SE and FA with GigE and Sony Pregius 4th Gen sensors
Preview of new GigE cameras with Sony global shutter sensors from 5 - 12 MP
The impressive Sony sensors IMX545, IMX546 and IMX547 will soon be available in cameras with GigE interface! We will be offering them as uEye+ CP (sugarcube format, 29 x 29 mm) as well as uEye+ SE (from board-level versions to fully enclosed housing) and uEye+ FA (with IP65/67 protection) models. IDS peak will provide you with the appropriate software support.
The 5 MP, 8 MP and 12 MP global shutter sensors belong to the Sony Pregius S series. Thanks to BSI technology (Backside Illumination) and the remarkably small pixel size of only 2.74 µm, you benefit from outstanding image quality. Especially noteworthy is the square format of the 2/3" IMX546 sensor, which maximizes the image content when capturing a scene. There are almost no limits to the possible applications of this industrial cameras, ranging from inspection tasks, to medical technology and traffic monitoring.
