The GigE uEye FA industrial camera with ethernet interface is our power pack and a superb all-rounder.
The camera housing, lens barrels and connectors meet the prerequisites for protection class IP65/67 and protect your camera from dirt, dust, water splashes or cleaning agents as well as accidental shifting of the optics.
The screw-on connectors also satisfy the high demands for industrial use – an 8-pin M12 connection with X coding for data transmission and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and an 8-pin Binder connector for GPIO, trigger and flash are available. An extensive range of accessories, including cables suitable for use as drag chains, and various screw-on options enhance versatility and facilitate integration.
A wide choice of the very latest CMOS sensors is available for selection. Everything starts with the impressive global shutter sensors from Sony: the IMX249 (2.3 MP) and IMX264 (5 MP). Models featuring a Sony IMX265 (3.2 MP) and IMX267 (8.9 MP) will follow in the near future.
Thanks to the IDS Software Suite, you can now experience genuine "plug & play" capability – familiar from USB – with our ethernet cameras. The IDS-specific driver package is identical for all IDS cameras, regardless of whether they have a USB 2.0, USB 3.0, USB 3.1 or GigE connection, and it offers optimum support for CMOS sensors. From May 2017, we are planning to also offer GigE uEye FA models with GigE Vision firmware. So in the future, you will be able to choose which benefits you want to take advantage of.
