Tab: Watchdog
To use the Watchdog functionality a wiring with the reset unput of the PC is necessary.
•Enable watchdog
Activate/deactivate the watchdog. The retrigger is necessary when the watchdog is activated, because it prevent a restart of the computer
•Auto deactivation on closing board
This option should be used always if possible. With this the watchdog is switched off when closing the board. The activated watchdog keeps running also after closing the board which can lead to a unmeant restart of the PC.
•Watchdog time
This can be preset in seconds or minutes. Within this time the retrigger of the watchdog is necessary. If there is no retrigger within the watchdog time the PC is rebooted.
