If you install the FALCON/EAGLE, please ensure, that the driver of a TV tuner card (e.g. WinTV from Hauppauge) or of a comparable multi-media card with a Bt848 or Bt878 chip have first completely removed from your system.
These driver will overwrite parts of the EEPROM without checking if the board comes from another manufacturer. This has the effect that the FALCON/EAGLE driver can’t identify the board (Error code 14). A new programming of the EEPROM can only be done by IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH on your own costs.
For this reason a parallel running of a FALCON/EAGLE board with multi-media boards from other manufacturers is not possible!
