With this dialog box all the parameters which concern colour, contrast and brightness can be adjusted.
•Brightness/hue
can be set between 0 and 255
•Contrast/saturation
can be set between 0 and 511
•Combine U/V
the slide bars U and V are moved at the same time
•Color bars
the image pattern generator can be activated and a color bar pattern is displayed on the screen. With this test image the principle functions of the frame grabber can be tested without the need of attaching a camera.
•Gamma correction
this compensates for the color differences between the image from the camera and the image which is actually displayed
•External ADC reference mode
toggles the frame grabber’s automatic brightness control. For this a reference voltage is compellingly necessarily. This is not possible with the standard version of the boards.
•Low color removal
the recording is switched from color to monochrome, if the quality of the video signal becomes too small. Viewing a monochrome picture is usually more pleasant than a bad color picture
•Chroma AGC
toggles the automatic color gain.
•Reset
returns all values to their default values.
