Tab: Filter

Horizontal/vertical filter
The horizontal and vertical digital interpolation filter works in three steps: It produces an improved image quality when the scaler is turned on. The steps of the horizontal filter are allowed at all image resolutions. With vertical filters only step 1 at all resolutions is allowed. Step 2 works to a horizontal resolution of maximum 385 pixels and step 3 to 193 horizontal pixels.

Luma bandwidth filter
Toggles the Luma Notch Filter. It works as band suppressor and filters the color carrier from the luminaz signal. For color cameras the Luma Notch filter should always be switched on, otherwise artifacts in the digitized picture can occur. When using monochrome cameras the Luma Notch filter should be switched off, so that sharp edges can be digitized.

Chroma Comb filter
The Chroma filter is switched on or off. This filter can suppress e.g. Moiree pattern by a clean signal separation and help to get sharper and calmer color edges and maximum detail accuracy
