From hardware version 4.0 on, the image acquisition on the FALCONplus/FALCONplus Express can be controlled using up to 12 digital inputs (4 of those are trigger inputs) and 8 digital outputs via a 26-pin connector J5. To connect the digital inputs/outputs optionally a optocoupler board can be purchased.
